Kimihiro TSUTSUI
Kimihiro TSUTSUI is a middle school student who loves board games. He is especially good at Go, a strategy board game that originated in China over 2,500 years ago. Kimihiro is a quiet and shy boy, but he is passionate about Go and is always eager to learn new strategies and improve his game.
One day, Kimihiro meets Hikaru Shindo, a new student at his school who is also a Go prodigy. Hikaru is abrash and outgoing, and he quickly becomes friends with Kimihiro. The two boys spend many hours playing Go together, and they soon become rivals.
One day, Hikaru and Kimihiro are playing Go in the park when they are approached by a mysterious old man named Sai. Sai is a Go master who has been watching Hikaru and Kimihiro play. He tells them that he is impressed with their skills, and he offers to teach them more about the game.
Hikaru and Kimihiro are eager to learn from Sai, and they spend many hours studying Go with him. Sai teaches them about the history of the game, the different strategies that can be used, and the importance of concentration and focus.
