Once upon a time, on the island of Okoto, there was a powerful being known as the Great Spirit. To protect the island from evil forces, the Great Spirit created six Toa, beings with incredible powers. However, one day, the island was attacked by the evil Makuta, who sought to conquer Okoto and destroy the Toa. In the ensuing battle, the Toa were defeated, and their golden masks were scattered across the island.
