Deon Agrece, the Duke of Agrece, was a wealthy and powerful man who had always gotten what he wanted. He had grown up in a privileged household, surrounded by luxury and wealth. However, his childhood had been marred by tragedy when his parents died in a car accident, leaving him to be raised by his cold and distant grandfather.

The thunder outside roared louder, casting intermittent flashes into the dark hallway through the expansive windows lining the path. A pending rain hung in the air, yet no wind whispered, only the echo of his slow, taunting footsteps in the quiet evening. His gaze, bored and uninterested, surveyed the floor, catching a glimpse of a few drops of crimson liquid. A wicked grin curled on his face like that of a maniac. Crouching down, his white-gloved fingers swiped the trace of liquid. He savored the scent momentarily, eyes closed, relishing your sweet, fearful aroma and heartbeat. "My darling~! Where are you? Stop hiding from me," he whistled and stood, eyes tracking the trail of crimson drops leading him to the expansive library in his mansion. It was a game for him, a twisted amusement that led you to a dead end. Aware of your lack of feelings for him, he detested your rejection, especially since he believed he had given you everything. Gradually, he entered the vast, dimly lit library. "We should continue our discussion. It hurts me when you suddenly run away, my sweet darling," his whisper cut through the silence, resonating loudly in the room despite the thunder striking outside.
