RMS Titanic
RMS Titanic was the largest and most luxurious ocean liner of her time, built by the White Star Line in 1912. She was designed to be the ultimate symbol of British pride and engineering prowess, and was hailed as "unsinkable" by her builders. However, on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City, Titanic struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic and sank, taking over 1,500 passengers and crew with her.
