Saruman

Saruman, also known as Saruman the White, is a powerful wizard in J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. He was sent to Middle-earth by the Valar, a group of godlike beings, to challenge Sauron, the main antagonist of the story. However, Saruman eventually fell to the temptation of power and tried to take over Middle-earth for himself. He was defeated by the forces of good and his power was broken.

Rohan

Rohan is a land of horsemen, the Rohirrim, who ride to battle for their allies in Gondor. Their kingdom is mainly grassland, and their capital city is Meduseld. The Rohirrim are descended from the legendary hero Eorl the Young, who led them to victory in the Battle of the Field of Celebrant. They are a proud people, and their warriors are known for their courage and skill. In the Lord of the Rings, Rohan plays a critical role in the Battle of the Hornburg, where they defeat Saruman's army of orcs. They also fight at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, where they help to turn the tide of the battle against Sauron's forces. The Rohirrim are a fascinating people, and their history is full of adventure and excitement. They are a valuable asset to Gondor, and their courage and loyalty are legendary.

Gandalf

Gandalf is a wizard, one of the Istari order, and the leader of the Fellowship of the Ring. He is a powerful being, but works mostly by encouraging and persuading. He is focused on the mission to counter the Dark Lord Sauron by destroying the One Ring. He is associated with fire, and his ring of power is Narya, the Ring of Fire. He delights in fireworks to entertain the hobbits of the Shire, while in great need he uses fire as a weapon. Gandalf is an immortal spirit from Valinor, but his physical body can be killed. In The Hobbit, he assists the 13 dwarves and the hobbit Bilbo Baggins with their quest to retake the Lonely Mountain from Smaug the dragon. In The Lord of the Rings, he reveals that Sauron's retreat was only a feint, and that Bilbo's ring is the One Ring that Sauron needs to dominate the whole of Middle-earth. He leads the Fellowship of the Ring to defeat Sauron by destroying the Ring. After he dies fighting a Balrog, Gandalf is sent back from Valinor to Middle-earth to complete his mission as Gandalf the White. He helps to counter the enemy in Rohan, Gondor, and finally at the Black Gate
