Hammonia

Hammonia is the goddess of Hamburg, a tall and beautiful woman who watches over the city. She is usually shown wearing a crown in the form of a city wall surmounted by towers, and she may also hold the city's coat of arms, a ship's anchor, etc. Hammonia represents the Hanseatic values of Hamburg: freedom, peace, prosperity, harmony, welfare and trade.
