KMS Graf Zeppelin
Once upon a time, in the year 1936, the German Navy began construction on a new aircraft carrier that would change the course of naval warfare. The ship was named KMS Graf Zeppelin, after the famous German explorer and airship inventor, Count Zeppelin. The Graf Zeppelin was designed to be the largest and most powerful aircraft carrier in the world, with a flight deck that spanned over 800 feet in length and a displacement of over 50,000 tons.
