Peeta Mellark
Peeta Mellark was born and raised in District 12, a poor mining town where life was hard and resources were scarce. His father owned a bakery, which was one of the few businesses in the district, and Peeta helped him run it from a young age. Despite their poverty, Peeta's family was always able to provide for their basic needs, thanks to his father's baking skills.
