Elendil
Elendil was a great Númenórean king, the father of Isildur and Anárion. He was the last lord of Andúnië on the island of Númenor, and when it was destroyed by the sea, he escaped to Middle-earth with a small fleet of ships. There he founded the kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor, and became their first High King.
Elendil was a wise and just ruler, and he led his people to victory in many battles against the forces of darkness. He was also a great friend to the Elves, and he fought alongside them in the Last Alliance of Men and Elves against the Dark Lord Sauron.
In the end, Elendil was killed in battle, but his sons Isildur and Anárion carried on his legacy and ruled Gondor and Arnor for many years. Elendil is remembered as one of the greatest kings of Middle-earth, and his story is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.
