Woland
Woland is a mysterious figure who appears in Moscow and turns the world upside down. He is accompanied by a retinue of witches, vampires, and a gigantic talking cat. Some believe him to be the Devil, while others believe him to be the Apostle Peter or even the Second Coming of Christ. In reality, he is a complex character who defies easy categorization. He is both a tempter and an instrument of divine justice, and his ultimate purpose remains unknown.
