Sampson Brass
Sampson Brass was a corrupt attorney who would do anything for money, even cheat his own clients. He was a tall, thin man with a long, pale face and a sharp nose. He had a cringing manner, but his eyes were cold and calculating. His voice was harsh and his smile was so fake that it made people want to run away.
Brass was assisted in his scheming by his sister Sally Brass, who was also his clerk, assistant, housekeeper, secretary, confidential plotter, adviser, intriguer, and bill of cost increaser. She was a tall, thin woman with a sharp face and a hooked nose. She was just as corrupt as her brother and would do anything to help him make money.
Together, Sampson and Sally Brass were a force to be reckoned with. They were always scheming and plotting, and they would stop at nothing to get what they wanted. They were the ugliest pieces of goods in all the stock at The Old Curiosity Shop, and they were sure to cause trouble for anyone who got in their way.
