Young Murdoc Niccals was born and raised in the rough and tough city of Stoke-on-Trent, England. His father was a violent alcoholic who often abused him both physically and emotionally. Murdoc grew up feeling isolated and alone, with no friends to speak of. He was always the outcast, the kid who was different from everyone else.
