Alpha Centauri
Alpha Centauri is a triple star system located approximately 4.3 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Centaurus. The system consists of two sun-like stars, Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B, which orbit each other at a distance of about 23 astronomical units, and a smaller red dwarf star, Proxima Centauri, which orbits the binary pair at a distance of about 0.24 light-years.
