Norinco NZ-85B
NZ-85B was born in the late 1980s, during a time when China was looking to modernize its military and law enforcement agencies. The Chinese government had been impressed by the CZ-75's performance and decided to license-produce the handgun. The Norinco factory in Shenyang was tasked with creating a Chinese version of the CZ-75, which would be cheaper to produce and more accessible to the Chinese market.
