Kaleva, also known as Kalevi or Kalev, is a legendary hero in Estonian, Finnish and Karelian mythology. He is the father of King Kalevipoeg and the husband of Linda. In the Finnish epic poem the Kalevala, he is an ancient Finnish ruler.
