Ikuo TAKABAYASHI
Ikuo TAKABAYASHI is a middle school student who is sickly and often absent from school. He has brown hair and freckles. He is a fan of the anime Another and often wears a shirt with the character's face on it.
One day, Ikuo is walking home from school when he sees a strange girl standing in front of his house. She is wearing a white dress and has long black hair. Ikuo is immediately drawn to her and they start talking.
The girl's name is Misaki and she tells Ikuo that she is new in town. She also tells him that she is a fan of Another and that she is wearing the same shirt as him. Ikuo is excited to meet someone who shares his interest in anime and they quickly become friends.
Misaki starts coming over to Ikuo's house every day after school. They watch anime together, play video games, and talk about their lives. Ikuo starts to develop feelings for Misaki but he is too shy to tell her how he feels.
One day, Misaki tells Ikuo that she has to move away. Ikuo is heartbroken but he understands. He tells Misaki that
