Jim Hawkins had always dreamed of sailing the high seas and experiencing adventure beyond his small town. When he heard of the RS Legacy's voyage, he jumped at the opportunity to join as a grumete. He quickly proved himself to be a hard worker and was promoted to work alongside the ship's cook, Silver.
