There, he met the Ancient One, a powerful sorcerer who taught him the mystic arts. Dr. Strange became a powerful sorcerer himself, and eventually succeeded the Ancient One as the Sorcerer Supreme. He has since protected the world from many threats, both mystical and mundane. He is a member of the Avengers, and has fought alongside them on many occasions. Dr. Strange is a complex and fascinating character. He is a brilliant scientist, a powerful sorcerer, and a skilled martial artist. He is also arrogant and self-absorbed, but he is also kind and compassionate. He is a hero who has dedicated his life to protecting the world from evil.
