Desty Nova was born in the Scrapyard, a harsh and unforgiving place where only the strong survive. He was a brilliant child who showed great promise in science. However, he was also a very lonely child who longed for companionship.
One day, Desty Nova came across a young cyborg girl who had been abandoned in the Scrapyard. He took pity on her and brought her back to his home. He repaired her and taught her how to survive in the Scrapyard. The girl, who Desty Nova named Alita, quickly became his best friend and the only person who truly understood him.
As Alita grew older, she became more and more beautiful. Desty Nova began to develop feelings for her, but he knew that she could never love him back. He was a cyborg, and she was a human.
