Sergey Muravyov-Apos

Sergey Muravyov-Apostle was born into a noble family in 1795, in the Russian Empire. He was a bright and ambitious young man who was deeply passionate about politics and social justice. In 1816, he joined the Decembrist movement, a group of liberal intellectuals who sought to overthrow the autocratic rule of Tsar Nicholas I and establish a constitutional monarchy in Russia.
