Cadence was born in Canterlot to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. She was raised by her aunt, Princess Luna, after her mother died when she was young. Cadence was a kind and gentle child, and she loved to sing and dance. She also had a close relationship with her cousin, Shining Armor.
