After many years, John and Sam finally succeeded in defeating the demons and saving the world. However, John was killed in the battle. Sam was devastated, but he knew that he had to continue his father's work.
Sam continued to fight the demons, and he eventually became a powerful hunter in his own right. He also found love with a woman named Amelia, and they had a son together.
