Patron-Minette
Patron-Minette was a gang of four criminals who haunted the streets of Paris in the early 19th century. They were led by Montparnasse, a tall and handsome man with a quick temper. Claquesous was a short and stocky man with a big appetite. Babet was a clever and cunning man who was always scheming. Gueulemer was a strong and silent man who was the muscle of the group. The Patron-Minette were known for their violence and their willingness to do whatever it took to get what they wanted. They were involved in a number of crimes, including robbery, murder, and kidnapping. In the novel Les Misérables, the Patron-Minette are hired by the Thénardiers to rob Jean Valjean. The robbery goes wrong, and Valjean is able to escape. The Patron-Minette are eventually captured and imprisoned.
